From the last two weeks total lockdown has been observed in Kargil Ladakh as is in the rest of the country because of COVID-19 or commonly known as Corona Virus. In the last two weeks, i came to know many new things about life and myself. Earlier life had a cycle wake up in morning go to office, meet with friends after office, returning home for dinner and going to sleep, the same cycle everyday. Waiting for Sunday was the sane thing to do, nowadays I don't even remember what day is it. In the last two weeks many things that seemed impossible before doesn't seems impossible anymore. Staying at home all day for 15 days was never possible for me now strangely enough it seems possible and even weirder is the fact that I am actually loving to be at home.
Now that i am home at all day, the question was what to do. The most natural thing was to do some thing productive, so the things that i choose to do was to learn to read Urdu, study about Stock Market and Exercising (a blog about each will soon follow). Due to the influx of cheap data in India studying new triads has become easy and i too am taking advantage of that. Sometimes I wonder how life would be under lockdown without cheap 4g data, well we would have to ask about that from the people residing in Jammu and Kashmir.
Some changes are even weirder like co-operation of parents even if you are sleeping till 2pm and even at 2pm you are welcomed into the Kitchen with a smile. Yes that is right I sleep till 2pm, that is my new timing. My new time table is sleep at 5am wake up at 2pm exercise at 4pm for 1-2 hours. In all this, keeping your body fit is important but most importantly keeping your mind healthy is very important. I feel like impact of this lockdown on your mental health is not discussed enough, please think about your mental health.
